Pieces of Paradise

"God, I can push the grass apart and lay my finger on Thy heart. "
-Edna St. Vincent Millay

Sorry for my absence lately. I've been busy enjoying pieces of paradise.
I can't help but spend hours walking through the green of Spring.
And I forget about computers and 'inside.'
But then I remember YOU, and think how much I wish I could share all of this beauty with you, in person that is.
Pictures will have to do.
Sending a tender green hug to all of you!

  1. Enjoying pieces of paradise is the best reason to stay away from the computer that I can think of!
But thankyou for coming back to the computer and sharing those glimpses of paradise!

  6. Ok, it is settled. You and Ramon MUST come to Maine, homeland and heartplace of Edna St. Vincent Millay. My neighbor Kate Pemberton Stearns KNEW Edna and was totally mesmerized by her "electrical presence."

  7. Sweet Dawn! Beautiful images....the world that surrounds you is breathtaking! I saved your photo 'Rieger Horses' as my desk top....it seriously made me sigh when I saw it. The fluffy clouds against the pretty blue...oh so lovely!

  11. Hey Erin and Katrina! I am so glad you like the photos. I took them at the Rieger ranch, which is an hour and a half hike away from my home. It's stunning! I took about 50 photos and had a hard time choosing just a few. Feel free to use them!
