5 Days A Week, 9

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend with your loved ones. Our holiday was very relaxed and low-key. Yesterday it was freezing cold and there were even a few snow flakes flying through the air, but today the sun shone, and my nephews were over to find the chocolate eggs that the Easter Bunny hid among our potted plants on the terrace. I'll share some spring and Easter photos soon.

Rafael has been doing so many new things. He loved to kick his feet while shaking his head back and forth. He also loves grabbing his feet and pulling at his socks. And did I mention that he has two teeth now?! The bottom ones came in and you can see them when he laughs (or screams). As adorable as they are, they are making nursing difficult, because he bites me, which is incredibly painful. Just when I had settled into nursing being easy and enjoyable!

Today Raffi loved saying "Mama, Papa, Mama, Papa," over and over again. I guess it doesn't mean anything yet, but it's still wonderful.

  1. He is so lovely. I'm so glad he's doing well.

  2. Oh Dawn...he is precious, what a handsome little man he is...sweet! Congrats on the new teeth...but sorry about them also...

Pray for warmer weather for you...

  3. So adorable! Love Friday's picture, with his booties, just too cute. Glad you had a wonderful, relaxed Easter! I'm sending you some warm weather soon.

  4. Oh yes....I remember the biting...all a part of the delight of motherhood...

He is precious; more so every day Dawn...thank you so much for sharing these clear crisp pictures. As much as instagram and hipstamatic are 'hip' and 'cool' they don't show off the details....

    these are awesome!

  5. Raffi looks delicious by the day. And all the things he's beginning to do or say are so sweet!!!
Wishing you infinite happy motherhood days, Dawn!
Look forward to seeing glimpses of your Easter celebrations...
    Love and God bless!

  6. He is a cutie! The teeth - ouch! Have you read about the US actress who just wrote a book about parenting and she breast feeds her son, who is..... 3 1/2!!! Mayim Bialik, she was a teen actress and now is in The Big Bang Theory, I don't know if you get that over there. I mean 3 1/2??? Wow!

Love the pics, especially the footie pjs, so adorable on kids. All's right with the world when kids have footie pjs!:)

  7. He is so adorable! Glad you had a lovely Easter!!
