We were waiting. Kiki and I.
Waiting for my hubby. Waiting for her papa.
"Wait here while I get the groceries," he said.
A sunny saturday morning, with billowing march clouds.
We waited on the bench and watched them go by.
Wind blew. People walked past us with their dogs. Everyone was happy because it was warm.
I was happy...
...Kiki was happy...
...even inanimate objects like this sign seemed cheerful.
Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Hopefully he remembered the eggs. And my chocolate bar.
There he is!
Awww, he did, he remembered everything.
My hero.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

This is a lovely little vignette that took me away to wait with you and Kiki, while your hero shopped, and remembered to get everything.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!

ReplyDeleteHello my friend...when I went to this I saw your adorable Kiki and the word March. I don't remember March...floated through in a haze. I don't know how I made it through. At times, I didn't think I would. My life..taken upside-down and given a good shake. This rattled me to my very core.
ReplyDeleteBut I am starting to come around..I never thought I would..
enjoyed seeing all of you out on a beautiful Spring day...
hope to be back to blogging soon...i miss everybody...
sending love,
Kary
