Every Hundredth Of A Second

"Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second."
- Marc Riboud

I am savoring these autumn days, intensely. Taking many, many pictures. I had to delete things from my computer to make room for more photographs. I am addicted to capturing the beauty that nature is displaying.

My mother leaves us tomorrow; it was a great visit, as we bounced around the woods, parks, farms, and zoo. Now things will go back to a more quiet rhythm, and cold weather is on the way. There may even be a first snow fall on the weekend. Autumn always seems so incredibly short, and I try to take it all in before winter closes in, when I face another year of waiting for the next fall foliage.

I have so many more autumn shots to share with you. Soon!

  2. We are still having good color here in East Tennessee!

It sounds as though you have had a very lovely time with your mother visiting.

  3. We are in agreement regarding Autumn, it is way too fleeting. I want to get out and feel the leaves crunch beneath my feet and see the glorious colors and pick up acorns. They fascinate me as do all the shapes and colors of the leaves. I look forward to more of your lovely pictures and hope you and your mom made many precious memories.

  5. You are a wise person. I am not a big fan of professional portraits of children. I love to capture the moment of what ever it is that they are doing. I love to take pictures of my family sleeping. And capturing the beauty of Gods earth...life in its quirky moments. Maybe that is why love your photos so much!
