Vintage Thanksgiving Greeting Cards

I LOVE vintage, especially vintage holiday greeting cards. Those for Thanksgiving sometimes have lovely sayings and well-wishes on them.
Here are a few examples I found on the internet. I wish I had real copies. Susan Branch and her man Joe collect them. If I ever move back to America, I want to start collecting them, too.

  3. I love them too...I found some Hallowe'en ones while we were there when we went to an Antiques Fair. I collect WW1 sweetheart postcards too..even if you don't have the real ones to hand, they brighten up your blog (and my day) just by being here! Thank you xox

  6. I love them too...have them lined up in my kitchen window...i set them inside of old floral frogs...what they used to make floral arrangements...those old wire ones...and they hold the cards so perfect in the window....

It's finally raining here in California..

    Stay warm and cozy.

    More later,

  7. I love old postcards too! My great-grandmother left a collection of hundreds of postcards when she died. Giving and receiving them was like entertainment back then. They really are beautiful. I have thought about having them reproduced and start a company selling them. They are not copyrighted and just adorable.

    Happy Thanksgiving,

    Elise

  8. eBay's amazing for old postcards, especially Victorian Christmas/birthday cards. I like to get lots, then cut them up to make collage-type Christmas cards of my own. On the UK site, they're in Collectables, then Paper & Ephemera, and there are literally hundreds!
