today's joy


   today, joy was found in




watercolors::a tiny cup with blue stars::  tulips::pinecones::grapefruit segments on creamy sweetened yogurt::anemones with their pretty black faces::tomatoes, lemon, onion, in a white ceramic bowl....





snow outside, pumpkins and thriving plants inside::fragrant red geraniums giving me blossoms in deep winter::hot mocca with organic raw milk::birthday preparations::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::


feeling good today. feeling creative and inspired by color. feeling good about myself because i finally got out my paints and started painting again!!!! 


lets take a moment to pray for the people of haiti, that help and comfort may come to them quickly!!! prayer WORKS.

    Last year we didn't do anything for my birthday.
    This year I will at least make myself a cake. ;)

  4. Ooo forthcoming birthday! Gosh! I didn't realise you are only about a year younger than me...incredible! You seem to have done so much already! I love those candles that you've drawn - so pretty! Maybe I should pray more too...I do try but maybe I should make a conscious effort to...

  6. I feel so bad for those people in Haiti...been thinking about them and praying for them all day....I can't imagine....

    Dawn, you're painting again..You must be feeling well. So good to see. Everything is so lovely...I just took a picture in my kitchen of a white pitcher filled with daffodils and a picture of a blue hyacinth in a tiny yelloware bowl...and some pictures of my red geraniums....and then I come here and see this...looks pretty much like my kitchen...O my....we must have the same DNA.

    John and I are off to Pismo Beach to see the huge waves in the ocean from the storm and to have a little lunch..then off looking for more trees.....
