The world is so big, and I am so small. God, grant me the gift to see many, many of the beautiful places on this great earth!
This is a new series on my blog...anytime I see a photo which takes my breath away, a photo of a place or a thing that makes my heart sing with longing, I will share it with you.
Scattering Lupines...what?! Oh my gosh, yes yes yes, please take, and share, a photo! Wow, I can hardly wait to see it... Yes, they will all be titled 'You make my heart sing' so they are easy to find. I love searching google images, what a Godsend!
My heart actually sank when I got to your blog. EVERTHING I LOVE in this life. And..well, the picture of those pumpkins just about did me in....Your book about KIKI looks adorable. I too am a doggy mommy to my 14 year old blind toy poodle named Butterscotch. I live in California and am friends with Susie Branch and Sharon Lovejoy. I think us gals have ALOT in common.
I'll be back very soon.... Have a great weekend. Best, Kary
beautiful!!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see more. This will be a great series! Will all of these photos be labeled under the "YOu Make My Heart Sing" category?
ReplyDeleteThat church reminds me of the one I grew up in. A little white wooden church--150 years old-- with a breathtaking steeple (only mine is not so tall!)
I am going to visit my family this weekend. I'll take a picture...

Good to hear from you, Dawn. That picture of the church in New England..well, there really are no words for how much I love that.
ReplyDeleteI'll visit your blog more this weekend. I just love it.
More later,
Kary and Butterscotch
This is such a lovely idea, and I wish I had thought of making a regular series of things that me feel warm, fuzzy and joyful! xx
